Portraiture Experimentation: Faithless

I realize there is a tendency for me to underexpose all the shots I take, making everything seemingly moody in general. Not that it's a bad idea but I really need to learn and familiarize how to expose my stuff properly.
But I am pretty pleased with what I have for my dear friend here in our very own St. Andrew's Cathedral. What sucks about it is: I only managed one satisfying shot after half a day of shooting. That is really really bad.
Anyone who has an idea, feedback or comments. Please, feel free. I really could use some.
